The version we will be using for the term is the latest version available at the beginning of the term.

Usually, in the winter term we will be using version b of the previous year. Usually, in the spring term we will be using version a of the current year. Usually, in the fall term we will be using version a of the current year. In the fall term we will be using version b of the current year.

Switching MATLAB versions is a hassle, as it involves manually installing the new version separately and installing the addons again for the version. Uninstalling the previous version is recommend but not necessary.

Note that for Winter 2025 version 2025a prerelease may be used for updated world magnetic model data.
