This page outlines the current plan for the co-op term. It includes a project timeline, task breakdown, and any necessary links.
This plan may be subject to certain content and/or timeline changes. We (the UW Orbital management team) will make every effort to keep this page up to date. If anything seems amiss, please contact one of the UW Orbital leads.
There are 3 main areas of background information for the PCB board setup: the ADCS architecture, the list of ADCS components, and other design teams’ ADCS PCB boards.
Phase 1.1: ADCS architecture review
In order to understand exactly what goals ADCS looks to accomplish and how it looks to accomplish them, the ADCS Architecture document has a detailed and visual explanation of its intended outcomes.
Phase 1.2: ADCS component review
Another source integral to understanding how ADCS looks to accomplish its goals is the list of ADCS components. The ADCS ‣ offer detailed explanations of what hardware is required for ADCS purposes and how that hardware works.
Phase 1.3: external ADCS PCB board review
One final series of sources that will help immensely in setting up the ADCS PCB board is looking at other design teams’ ADCS PCB boards. Looking particularly at their overall schematics to determine what went where may help set up what should go where on UW Orbital’s ADCS board(s).
The PCB board setup has 1 main deliverable: a detailed ADCS board(s) block diagram.
Phase 1.4: ADCS PCB board block diagram(s)
For reference to how the PCB board block diagram should look, please see PLACEHOLDER. The block diagram should include:
